Chuck graduated from Texas A&I in 1970, he served two years in the United States Army, including a tour of duty in Vietnam.

Chuck spent 17 years in the industrial safety distribution business in sales and management positions with several major companies.  He served as National Sales Manager for a major manufacturer of industrial ergonomic soft-good products which afforded him the opportunity to understand a manufacturer’s perspective. In 1990, Chuck founded his own manufacturer's representative agency, Bandfield Sales and Associates.
